Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Ezdoss digital signage service, the management panel at pro.ezdoss.com, and this website. By subscribing to a plan or using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
Ezdoss is a subscription service for displaying content on screens you control. We host your content and the management panel; you supply the screens and the media players, and an internet connection at each site.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access. You must be authorised to act for the business the account belongs to.
3. Plans, screens and locations
Each plan allows a set number of screens and locations, listed on the pricing page. If you need more, contact us and we will move you to a larger plan. Pricing covers deployments of up to 30 players; beyond that we quote individually.
4. Payment and renewal
Payment is taken by our processors, Helcim and Stripe, on their secure pages. We do not see or store your card details.
Annual plans are paid for a full year in advance and renew automatically at the end of each term unless you tell us before the renewal date. Month-to-month plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Prices may change at renewal; we will tell you before that happens.
5. Evaluation period
New accounts get a 30-day evaluation. The service is fully functional during this time, but Ezdoss branding appears on your content until you subscribe.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your logo, images, video, menu text and prices. You grant us the limited right to store, process and deliver it to your screens for the purpose of running the service. Designs and templates we create are dealt with separately in section 7. You are responsible for holding the rights to the images, video, fonts and text you upload, and for making sure your content is lawful and accurate — including prices shown to your customers.
We may remove content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or puts the service at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first.
7. Designs, templates and styles
The templates, layouts, style presets, animations, fonts, arrangements and any other design elements that make up the Ezdoss system are ours. That includes design work we produce for you — a board we lay out, a template we build to match your branding, or a style we create as part of setting you up or as paid design work.
We keep full ownership of that work and may reuse it however we like, including as a starting point or template for other customers, without payment or credit to you. Buying a plan or paying for design work gives you the right to use those designs on your own screens for as long as your subscription runs; it does not make the design exclusive to you and does not transfer ownership of it.
What stays yours is the material you supply: your logo, your photographs, your menu text and prices, and anything else you upload. We do not reuse those for other customers. Where a design we reuse contains your supplied material, we replace it before it goes to anyone else.
8. Showing your screens as examples
We may show boards created on Ezdoss as examples of the service — on this website, in a gallery of live screens, and in other marketing material. This covers the design and layout of the board as it appears on screen, including your business name where it forms part of that board.
This right is non-exclusive and does not transfer ownership of anything: your content remains yours, and nothing here stops you using it however you wish. We will not show content you have marked private, and if you would rather not appear, tell us and we will remove you — email us and we will take your screens out of the gallery.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to display unlawful material, to attack or overload our systems, to resell access outside the terms of your plan, or to attempt to gain access to accounts that are not yours. Reseller access is available on the Enterprise plan.
10. Availability
We work to keep the service running continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages and problems with your own internet connection or hardware can all interrupt playback. Players cache content locally so screens generally keep playing during a connection loss.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a serious breach of these terms. You may cancel as described in section 4 and in our refund policy. After an account closes we may delete its content; export anything you want to keep beforehand.
12. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where they affect your subscription, by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
